JOHN FRIEDA GO BLONDER BLOND SPRAY REVIEW

Hi everyone! Today I'm doing my John Frieda Blond Spray review. First of all, my natural hair color is dark blond (I was white blond when I was little) and I don't want to go very light blond but I want a little more gold reflects (warm blond) in my hair because my dark blond hair is kind of a cold color and also my blond highlights are growing out, so I wanted to lighten my hair a little to "cover" the difference between my natural hair color and the highlights. Also my hair is pretty thick and almost not damaged (only few split ends). The product says that you will see results after 4 to 6 uses (out of 10 for one bottle), I have to say that I only started to see results after the 6th or 7th application. The smell by the way stays on your hands and it smells horrible, very chemical. I'm not sure if it's the product or just my imagination but I have the feeling that I lose a little more hair than before I used the product. In general, it lightened my hair a little but not that much, I also feel like my hair is a little bit more orange (not really orange but a orange shimmer, depends on how light falls) but not in a negative way. I used up a whole bottle but I guess that a second bottle would have lightened my hair even more. Since I have long hair I guess that one bottle is not enough to get the final result but I wanted to give my hair a break because don't forget it's a chemical product to bleach your hair with. I now want to try the John Frieda Shampoo & Conditioner but not the one that lightens your hair but the one that just brightens up your blond color and highlights (I guess that's not a bleach and therefor not as damaging). I would recommend this spray to girls with really blond hair or really many highlights to "cover up" the re-grown hair so that the difference is not that big and you have a little more time to redo your hair color.
